Synopsis |
Being aware of how one uses time at work can be useful in managing activities, assessing productivity, and maintaining social interaction with others. However, keeping track of one's activities is tedious and detracts from actual work. Delegating the monitoring to computers is an alternative that can allow the user to focus instead on the analysis of the information. In this web site, I describe the system I built to track the activities in an office. I apply detection of technology to assess a measurement of productivity. I show that office activities can be accurately detected and that activities have some correlation with productivity. |
