Hi,
I'm Ian Li!

About

I recently finished my Ph.D. in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. My advisors were Anind Dey and Jodi Forlizzi. My research was in the area of personal informatics: understanding, designing, and developing technologies that help people better understand their own behavior. My thesis explored how to use contextual information in personal informatics systems to improve self-knowledge.
